Learn a series of exercises to stretch & strengthen your toes, arches, ankles, and lower legs. The Fantastic Feet!™ exercises can help you improve your posture from the ground up.
Course will include the following:
- Arch Education - Posture Placement for Weight Bearing on the Feet.
- Personal Awareness and Assessment
- Stretching the Ankles Arches & Toes
- Non-Weight Bearing Exercises for Ankles, Arches, & Toes
- Weight Bearing Exercises for Ankles, Arches, & Toes
- Resistance Training
- Reflexology & Massage
- Guidelines for teaching, cueing, and spotting clients to assist them in understanding proper exercise technique and alignment for safe & effective movement.
Learning Objective: At the completion of this course, you'll have:
- Knowledge of correct technique for incorporating the Fantastic Feet exercises into client & class programs. This includes proper execution, correct breathing patterns, & recommended repetitions.
- Awareness of cueing and spotting techniques to effectively explain how to do the exercises.
- General guidelines for identifying which exercises can best benefit a specific client's needs.
- An understanding of how to incorporate the exercises learned into a class or individual client program, and safely progress students into more challenging work.
With additional practice and preparation, participants have the knowledge to safely & effectively incorporate the Fantastic Feet exercises into client or class programs to facilitate functional strength, flexibility and establish safe & effective movement habits.
